to a new integrated purpose-built facility.

in West London, with more than 30 years’ experience in Ophthalmology.

Chair

Dr Avinash Gurbaxani is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist

specialising in Uveitis, Inflammatory Eye Disease, Medical Retina, and Cataract

Surgery. With over two decades of expertise, he has managed complex uveitis in both adult and paediatric patients.

Sharita Jhummun, with a background as an Optometrist, is the Project Manager at the Willesden Eyecare Centre and Programme Manager for the NWL APC ophthalmology digital EPR group. She focuses on service innovation, collaboration, and improving patient pathways in eye care.

Bhavin Maru is an accomplished and highly skilled nurse leader in the

field of ophthalmology. With a career spanning over two decades, Bhavin has dedicated

himself to the care and advancement of eye health.

Nigel has been a consultant at St Thomas’ hospital since May 2017, prior to that he was at Chelsea and Westminster for 13 years.
